common ground, {for review}

Four pages and the member emails, linked the way they would be on the live site. Start on the landing page and tap join to walk the whole path, or jump to any page below. Nothing is sent anywhere. Open it on your phone too: this round is about mobile.

  1. 1 · landing page

    members.verdigreenhotels.com

What a guest sees first. New: a full-width photo carousel hero cut down to the headline, one line and the join button, then a program overview, the three tiers and an every-benefit table.

  2. 2 · join flow

    the post-stay invite

The link a guest gets after checkout: perks, the Journey explainer, the join form, the texted code, then welcome. The known-guest version opens with their name and 1,500 points already filled in.

  3. 3 · member portal

    signed in

What a member sees after joining: their tier and progress to the next one, their stay, offers, benefits and an invite to bring someone.

  4. 4 · member emails

    every email, one brand

Five Common Ground emails in the {verdigreen} brand, written once for all twelve inns, with photos of the guest’s own house. The sixth, for a Journey Ambassador or Legend’s first {verdigreen} booking, is a Journey email (switch between the Ambassador and Legend versions). No points anywhere.

latest round: email feedback

  • Every email that’s about a stay now shows photos of that house (merge field HotelPhotos); the tier-up shows the two stays that earned it.
  • Fewer colour blocks: the dark stay card, filled callouts and black footer are now light, so the photos carry the colour.
  • All points language and the points-claim offer are gone.
  • The Journey member email is now a full Journey email, built on the Journey comms system: Ambassador and Legend versions that show what their status means at {verdigreen}, plus their automatic Common Ground Planted benefits. verdigreen still needs to confirm it honours the Timeless Stay Award and the fee waiver.

member emails (first round)

  • The three Twin Gables emails (invite, one-week nudge, post-stay return) are now {verdigreen}-branded and work for any of the twelve inns. The house name, address, dates and photo are merge fields.
  • Three new emails: welcome for people who join with no booking, tier up when a member moves from Planted to Rooted, and Journey member for an existing Journey member’s first {verdigreen} booking (preferred-guest perks, and they’re Planted automatically).
  • Tier benefits in the emails match the live program at verdigreen.journeyalliance.co. Member buttons go to the live portal.
  • Use show merge tags at the top of the email page to see every field.

new this round: tiers & program overview

  • Tiers come from the saved Common Ground program in Membership Studio: Planted (join), Rooted (two stays in a year, or six nights across two) and Cultivated (ten stays).
  • The perks already on these pages (3x points, welcome pour, $25 house credit, upgrades) stay as things every tier gets. Tiers add the Studio benefits on top: 10% and then 25% off, a welcome amenity, a tree planted in your name and so on.
  • Landing page: a three-step how it works under the hero, a tier ladder, an every-benefit table (tap any row for details) and two new FAQs.
  • Member portal: a your tier band with progress to the next tier. Zach shows as Rooted (4 of 10 stays); the just-joined view shows Planted. Rooted perks appear in the benefits list only once a member reaches Rooted.
  • Both join flows: one line under the perks naming the three tiers.
  • Leftover key wording from the old program name is gone (one key, key nº, two portal FAQs).

what changed for mobile

  • Every page and every join step shows its main button on the first screen of phones 320 to 430px wide.
  • On phones a join bar follows you down the landing page, and the join button stays pinned through the first two join steps.
  • The join form now fits phones (it rendered 500px wide), opens the right keyboard, autofills, and takes the texted code in one tap.
  • Nothing scrolls sideways at any size, every tap target is at least 44px, and inputs no longer make iPhones zoom.
  • The hero video is a shorter, lighter loop without the title card; portrait phones show a still photo.
  • The member portal keeps book a stay on phones and adds an invite card.

new copy to sign off

  • Portal invite card: {bring someone} · share common ground. with Free to join, and good from their very first stay. The invite link itself is a placeholder.
  • Portal trip card during a stay: in house · welcome back and glad you’re here,
  • Portal, just joined: your first stay lands here after checkout.
  • Landing page join bar on taller phones: no card required · takes about a minute
  • Tiers: the overview (a membership that remembers you.), the ladder and table descriptions, and the FAQ answers. Studio only gives the qualifying rules, so stays booked direct count once you check out; a stay is one reservation is my assumption.
  • Portal tier band: your common ground tier, unlocks at cultivated, and the top-tier line the inns are, in part, yours now.

On short phone screens the landing page drops its opening mood line so the join button fits; the full copy still shows on larger screens.
